Indian DTH provider Tata Sky announced a collaboration with payments technology company Visa. The move allows subscribers to recharge their accounts with ease using QR Codes.
Tata Sky subscribers will now see a QR Code on their screens, which can be scanned using a smartphone. The Tata Sky QR Code will redirect to a payment platform powered by mVisa.
mVisa enables secure, digital commerce through the mobile phone, which today has become the single point of access to technology for consumers. The mVisa solution for Tata Sky subscribers will cater to a large user base across India – T.R. Ramachandran, Group Country Manager, India and South Asia, Visa
