What it does in Slack

Real-time activity, routed to the right room

Pick what matters, point it at a channel, and let Slack do the rest.

What you can monitor

  • Live scan alerts for any active QR Code campaign
  • Lead captures & form responses delivered to specific channels
  • QR Code lifecycle events — creation, updates, and deletions
  • User management updates when teammates are added or removed
  • Custom domain updates and status changes

How it helps

  • Instant lead response — notify sales the second a form is submitted
  • Team transparency — keep everyone aligned on account changes
  • Campaign monitoring — catch the moment a campaign goes live or peaks
  • Centralized chat — discuss scans and leads in Slack threads
  • Less dashboard fatigue — stay current without manual logins

Best for

  • Sales teams that need to chase hot leads fast
  • Marketing agencies juggling multiple client campaigns
  • Operations teams tracking asset and inventory scans in the field
  • Enterprises watching user permissions and security changes
  • Event organizers tracking check-ins and registration scans
How notifications flow

From a scan in the real world to a message in Slack

Once connected, Scanova posts a formatted message to the channel you chose every time a tracked event happens. Messages include the campaign, the data captured, and quick context — and your team can reply in a thread to coordinate.

1

A QR Code gets scanned

A customer scans your code, submits a form, or your team changes an account setting.

2

Scanova captures the event

The scan, lead, or update is recorded against the campaign it belongs to.

3

A message lands in your channel

Scanova posts the details to the Slack channel you mapped to that activity.

4

Your team acts in the thread

Assign the lead, discuss the spike, or log the change — without leaving Slack.

Installation

How to add Scanova to Slack

The connection lives inside your Scanova account, so you'll sign in first and then authorize Slack. Here's the full path, start to finish.

Create a Scanova account or log in

Start a free trial or sign in at scanova.io. The Slack integration is available on Scanova's paid plans.

Add to Slack

Open Integrations

In the left sidebar of your dashboard, select Integrations.

Find Slack and click Setup

Scroll to the Workflow and Automation section. On the Slack card, click Setup.

Connect your Slack workspace

In the popup, click Connect Slack Workspace. You'll be redirected to Slack to authorize access.

Admin-controlled workspace? Your Slack admin may need to approve or add the Scanova app before this step completes.

Choose your channel and alerts

Pick the channel that should receive notifications, then select the activities you want to track — scans, lead captures, lifecycle events, user changes, and domain updates.

You're live

Send a test scan and watch the alert appear in Slack. Adjust channels or activities anytime from the same Integrations page.

💡

Pro tip — give each alert its own room

Create dedicated channels for different notification types (e.g. #marketing-leads for form responses and #ops-logs for account changes) so the right data reaches the right people and nothing gets buried.

Bring your QR Code activity into Slack

Set it up in a few minutes and let your team act on every scan, lead, and change as it happens.
