See every broken QR Code on your account from one screen, ranked by the scan traffic each problem is costing you
QR Health Center is a single page within Scanova that helps you monitor every QR Code in your account and flags the ones that need your attention. It runs live checks for QR Codes, their schedules, changes saved but never published, lead forms that no longer exist, and custom domains that are not fully verified, then collects everything it finds into one list.
Instead of opening each QR Code to work out why a scan is not landing where it should, you get a ranked list of open issues, each one explaining why it surfaced, what to do next, and how much real scan traffic it is affecting.
The QR Code Health Center runs its checks when you open the page or press Refresh, then ranks whatever it finds against your own account's scan traffic. 5 live checks run across every active QR Code on the account at once: schedule, domain verification, draft publishing, form link, and no scans yet. Paused QR Codes are left out, because pausing is treated as a deliberate decision rather than a fault.
Every active QR Code's lifetime scan count is collected, and only the codes carrying actual traffic shape the distribution. That stops a pile of zero-scan codes from dragging the thresholds down and mislabeling a genuine problem. Scanova then works out your account's median and top-tier cut-offs and places each flagged QR Code against them, which is what turns a raw list of faults into Critical, Warning, and Needs Review.
Follow these steps to find and fix QR Code issues from the QR Health Center
Log in to Scanova. Click on 'QR Codes' from the left sidebar and select 'Health Center'.
View the health percentage summary bar at the top, and read the 5 cards below it to see how many issues are 'Critical', 'Warnings', 'Needs Review', 'Healthy', or codes paused by the user.
Filter by severity or issue type, or search by QR Code name, ID, owner, or issue text. Every issue is listed in a table format. You can click on 'View issue' on any row, or the 'Open top issue' button on the top-right of the screen to jump to the issue costing you the most traffic.
Click on 'Open QR details' to go to that QR Code, and fix it via settings. Come back and select the 'Refresh' button on the top-right of the screen to confirm that the issue has been resolved and cleared from the table.
Scanova's QR Code Health Center checks the things that fail without warning, then tells you which failures are actually costing you scans
The top of the page shows what share of your QR Codes are currently healthy, out of your total count, alongside your lifetime scans. The health bar is colour-coded so the state is obvious at a glance — green when nothing is wrong, amber when at least one problem is found, and grey for QR Codes you have switched off on purpose.
'Critical', 'Warnings', and 'Needs Review' flag open issues, while Healthy and Paused by User count QR Codes. Deliberately paused QR Codes are kept out of the issue counts entirely. One QR Code can also carry more than one issue at a time.
The open issues table lists the QR Code name and ID, the severity, the issue type and a short description of it, the lifetime scan count, and a 'View issue' button. Filter by severity or issue type, or search by QR Code name, QR Code ID, owner, or issue text. Every filter label carries a count for you to prioritize fixing.
Issues are listed as 'Critical', 'Warnings', and 'Needs Review' within each tier by scan volume, highest first. The top row is therefore the most high-priority problem on your account, and the 'Open top issue' button takes you straight to it.
Each issue opens into a drawer split into 3 parts. Why this issue surfaced gives the reason, category, owner, and issue-specific details such as draft timestamps or domain verification status. What to do next gives a short resolution instruction and a checklist of what the check actually found. Traffic context shows a Dynamic QR Code's relative visit weight so you can prioritize fixing your codes accordingly.
The Health monitor section lists each check as its own card: Schedule, Domain verification, Draft publishing, Form link, and No scans yet. Every card shows how many QR Codes it currently affects, or All clear if none do. Click a card to open a drawer describing exactly what that check looks for and which QR Codes it has flagged.
Severity is calculated from your account's own scan distribution rather than a fixed scan threshold. This way, the issue ranking stays meaningful whether you have 50 scans or 50,000. Only Dynamic QR Codes with traffic shape this distribution, which stops zero-scan codes from dragging your thresholds down and mislabelling a problem.
Use the Refresh button in the header instead of reloading the page, and check the Refreshed timestamp next to the page title to know how current the results are. The page also adapts to your role, so if you do not have access to Forms or Custom Domains you don't see issues related to them and everything else keeps working normally.
The more QR Codes you run, and the longer they stay in circulation, the more this matters
Packaging, posters, kiosks, and stall QR Codes keep getting scanned long after being printed once. Health Center flags the codes that are out of their schedule or have a broken form link, so you can fix the code instead of reprinting anything. This helps save you effort and huge costs.
When several teams or clients create QR Codes using the same account, nobody gets the full picture of what is live and working. Search by owner, filter by issue type, or QR Code name/ID, and figure out which codes need attention and which problem is the most commonly occurring one across the account.
A capture flow that cannot complete loses leads without producing a noticeable error. The QR Code Form link health check flags QR Codes whose linked form no longer exists, and the drawer points you straight to the QR editor to attach a working one before the next batch of scans arrives.
Branded links depend on CNAME and TXT verification being complete, and time-bound campaigns depend on start and end dates being right. Domain verification and Schedule checks watch both, so a half-verified domain or a window that closed early does not sit undetected on printed material.
A few specific rules shape what you see, so the numbers on the page are easier to read correctly
Pausing is treated as a deliberate decision. A paused QR Code never raises an issue. It still appears in your account totals as Paused. Resume it whenever you want to bring it back under monitoring.
Until an account has at least 10 QR Codes carrying real traffic, no issue is raised to Critical, because there is not enough data to rank fairly. A draft QR Code detail which has not been published is capped at Warning too, since a stale draft shows older content rather than breaking the scan.
Anyone who can view QR Codes can open Health Center. If your role does not include Forms or Custom Domains, issues related to them simply do not appear. A person with more permissions will see more cards than you do.
